Are We Safe Online?

All of us are using the web. We use the internet for all purposes such as entertainment, business, education,etc.Most of us are having accounts on social networking sites such as Facebook,Orkut ,etc.

We just browse and enjoy and don't even bother about the thing which happens to us without our knowledge in those social networking sites.We are not safe in the Internet.There are a lot of strangers viewing what we are doing in the web.We cannot identify that., Hackers and crackers are the major persons  whom we must be aware of while surfing in the web.They can even hack our bank accounts and let us in deep trouble.Other threat is the Virus, which is also a creation of such  Hackers.Most of us store our personal details in the Internet in some sites where we have to give our identity,the hackers can also trace such data and lead us into deep trouble. Social networking  sites are also not a safe place where we can be .There are a lot of hidden dangers behind those Websites.By entering in some websites, even our PC gets dameged because of the massive Virus attact.Even we get high jacked.

The only way to get away from such threats is to hide our identity while online.Our identity in the web is the IP address( I have already written an article about it). If only we can hide it, we can hide our IP upto a limit
and there by being secure in the web.The way through which we can stay secure is by using the proxy servers.The proxy server helps us to hide our Ip and by giving us their IP, we can stay secure upto a limit.To change our IP, go to the browser and find the tab where the proxy servers can be changed,in there you must paste the IP of the Proxy server.

Beware that this cannot hide you identity in the  web completely, the one who is intelligent enough in computer networking can easily track down your IP.
