How to play PS2 Games On PC?

Everyone wants to play ps2(playstation 2) games rather than pc games.
Some of you must be already knowing about the post which i'm going to present here
This post will be really useful to those who doesn't have a ps2..
I'm here to tell those who want to play ps2 games without using a ps2.
Now some of you might be wondering how you can play a ps2 game without using a ps2,don't worry,your doubt will be totally cleared after you read this post.
I'm presenting you with this information as a long time player of ps2 games in pc.
There are a lot of other blogs and websites containing information about playing ps2 games on pc...

Out of that the only idea you may be getting is about PCSX2;an advanced emulator for playing ps2 games on pc.

Here i'm trying to make you guy's who are reading this post about playing ps2 games which are very awesome in the pc itself with same speed as that which you will get in the ps2.
Now let me come to the real deal;I shall now describe how to play such games in a simple language that all of you can easily understand.



first i shall tell you the requirements;
(1) A pc with windows operating system.
(2) An internal ram of minimum 2GB(you can play even in 1GB, but you might not get efficient speed).
(3) Graphics memmory of atlest 312MB(it is better that you have a graphics card of NVIDEA or GEFORCE since it can provide high graphics quality)
(4) THE EMULATOR,which is the most essential part
the emulator is PCSX2.
(5) The bios for booting up the emulator.

Now let's get started of setting up the emulator.As I told you,it is better to use PCSX2 0.9.8 for easy handling ,I am providing you with the download link for pcsx2 0.9.8.
First you download the emulator (you can get it through googling too).Then you must have the bios file(it is impossible to boot the emulator without the bios file.
It is illegal to download the bios file, so I am advising that you download the file I am specifying here through googling(the file is SCPH 70012.BIN(us version)/SCPH 10000.BIN(japan version).
After you download the bios file,install the emulator.If you are using windows xp ,then after installing emulator,put the bios file in the bios folder in PCSX2's program file.
If you are using windows 7, then after installing the emulator, go to my documents > PCSX2 > bios, then put your bios file there.
Now you are all set to go.

Now fire up your emulator , on the first time ,it shall ask you to adjust the settings, just move step by step specifying the plugins and bios file .
Then your emulator shall ask you whether you want to update the directx libraries, then click yes the emulator will open up a download page containing the installer for directx,just install it
(for those who doesnot have an Internet connection,just manually go to the windows site and just search for a file name "directx_Jun2010_redist.exe" download it and then install it.
after that boot your PCSX2 once more and everything will be set to go.

Now you must need the game for playing, for that first download DAEMON TOOLS
get some ps2 games disc and using the daemon tools, create an ISO file of the disc or you can even download the ISO of the game from the net.

Open the emulator goto CDVD > ISO SELECTOR > BROWSE ,then browse for the game ISO,
If you have a joystick, connect it your pc and set it in the emulator by going to CONFIG > CONTROLLERS(PAD) (if you donot have a joystick you can use your keyboard ,just adjust the keys in the dialog box that appears in the previous step
Now go to SYSTEM > BOOT CDVD(FULL)
Now you are ready to play the game, just wait till the game loads.

For downloading the ps2 game isos directly, the best site is http://www.nitroroms.com/ , you can also get it through torrents.
NOTE: It is better not use any speed hacks on your emulator since it may cause crash or freezing of your emulator during game play
If you does not get sufficient speed (fps limit must be about 45-59 for real speed) go to CONFIG > VIDEO(GS) and reduce the resolution till you get sufficient speed.
There is a debugging window along with emulator(advanced),for more speed just close the debugger during game play)
